Hamptons native, master drummer and prolific songwriter, Dan Bailey brings a new tasting of full-bodied rhythm to mainstream attention.  Dan pours Reggae, Ska, Blues, African and Latin beats through his signature rhythmic changes, intoxicating his audience with the primal call of fierce drum breaks.  His electrifying stage presence, irresistibly positive message and pure artistry have likened him to legends such as Bob Marley and Jim Morrison and thrilled audiences with his fresh perspective.

Godson and protégé of Grammy Award-winning master drummer Baba Olatunji, Dan followed his musical intuitions on an around-the-world journey, inspiring a passionate sound that entices the masses to move.  Dubbed “the Beat Master” by the New York Times, Dan has opened for The Wailers, Culture, Maxi Priest, Inner Circle and was featured by the South African All-Stars.  His band Living Rhythm has included Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon), Nonhlanhla Kheswa (Wyclef Jean) and current member Bill Smith (Skatalites).
